BeiGene Canada talks about Developing and Approving Drugs

Loading Events

This upcoming National Zoom will feature two special guests from BeiGene Canada:  Grant Perry, BeiGene Canada’s Senior Director of External Affairs, and Brad Gillesby, BeiGene Canada’s Country Medical Director.  Grant Perry leads activities involving market access, pricing, patient advocacy, health policy, and public & government relations.  Brad Gillesby oversees the design and implementation of BeiGene Canada’s medical affairs strategy and plays a key role in investigator-initiated research and clinical activities.

They will be with us to talk about what it is like to develop a new drug — from the pharmaceutical company’s point of view.  They will provide insight into the Canadian approval process, the costs of developing drugs, and a concrete look at the timeline to approve Brukinsa in Canada.

This promises to be an enlightening evening — how does the Canadian drug approval system actually work?

To accommodate our speakers, we have to start a bit earlier than our usual.  So please mark 6:30 p.m. Eastern in your calendars (7:30 p.m. Atlantic; 3:30 p.m. Pacific) on Feb. 27th.  And note that this event will not be recorded, so it will not show up on our WMFC YouTube channel.

The event will be English-only.
