Ron Ternoway: 15 Years a Wallie

Besides being a Support Group Leader for the Atlantic Support Group, Ron Ternoway has led the way in multiple clinical trials.  In 2021, he recorded this 15-minute podcast about WM and his journey with it, for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.  "It was such a treat to do this with George Athans, who was once a world champion water skier and a Montreal TV sportscaster", said Ron. Ron has since produced a slide deck, "15 Years a Wallie", giving us a visual way to join him through his journey. Truly an inspiration!

January 2020: CancerCare presents Coping with a Loved One’s WM

The organization CancerCare put together a workshop entitled “For Caregivers: Coping with a Loved One's Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia”.  It brought together: Carolyn Messner (director of Education and Training at CancerCare), Carl Harrington (chairman of the IWMF), Dr. Jeffrey V. Matous (from the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute), and Georgie Cusack (Director of Education and Patient Safety, National Institutes of Health).   You can listen to the workshop at the following link.
