I’m pleased to announce details for what has become our annual in-person get-together – our Summer Picnic and Lawn Bowls at Saint Mary’s Lawn Bowls Club in Halifax.
Thanks to the WM Foundation of Canada, all costs will be covered for our adventure. Many of you participated last year, and I’m looking for expression of interest – please let me know if you (and your care angel) plan to attend.

And if you want to get a leg-up on the competition, there are free Learn to Bowl sessions at Saint Mary’s tomorrow, June 25, and Saturday June 1 at 11 am and 2 pm – please see attached poster.
For those of you planning to attend the July 6 event, there will be an opportunity to contribute to an In Memory donation to the WMFC in honour of our dear late friend Dr. Charles Schafer.
