Hello to Everyone!
My name is Dianne Soutif and I have volunteered to lead the Eastern Ontario (Ottawa) WMFC support group. Although this is a new role for me, I was tremendously supported by this group as well as by WMFC and IWMF when I was diagnosed with Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia in 2020 and underwent treatment three years ago. My background is in education and professional mentoring, hence this is a great opportunity for me to give back to our WM community.
To that end, SAVE THE DATE for our upcoming SUPPORT GROUP MEETING which will be held on Wednesday November 13th from 6-8 pm. The link will be sent to you a few days prior to the meeting. The agenda will include a few announcements followed by an opportunity for each participant to share experiences related to living with WM.
Additionally, I am actively seeking someone from this community to volunteer as co-leader of our support group. I welcome any queries you may have about what responsibilities this role would entail. Having a partner would be deeply appreciated!
